On the Agattu with the Kalkhoff Impulse 2.0 drive system, you can feel relaxed and cheerful as you ride, instead of sweaty and stressed- whether you are rushing to work or on a sporty weekend ride. The simple operation and low-maintenance reliability of the Agattu Impulse, make every tour a delight. While others may marvel at your unbelieveable energy, you can delight in the enormously long-lasting Impulse battery with 612Wh and a range of 127 miles. Thats more than enough for a spontaneous detour to your favorite cafe. The Agattu is agile and powerful, allowing you to enjoy an exceptionally long, worry-free ride without the thought of stopping.

Brakes: The Agattu comes equipped with high-quality Magura HS11 hydraulic rim brakes. In addition to providing very dependable stopping power, these brakes are low-maintenance, and easy to control. The ideal weight distribution of the Kalkhoff Impulse center motor makes the bike particularly easy to ride. No matter how hard you ride stopping should be no concern.

Frame: The aluminum alloy frame has a unique and stylish step-through design with a wave shaped body style. The Agattu’s battery and motor are centrally mounted on the seat tube and carefully integrated into the frame.

Drivetrain: The rear wheel is laced with a 7 speed Shimano Nexus internally geared hub with a Shimano Nexus Revo twist shifter located on the right grip. The Agattu’s shift-sensing technology provides quick and smooth gear-shifting; noticeably similar to a “normal” non-assisted bike.

Top Speed: Like most electric bikes sold in the United States, the Agattu has a top speed of 20 mph in keeping with the guidelines of federal law.

Sizing Options: The Agattu comes in four frame sizes; Small 26” (46cm), Small 28” (46cm), Medium 28” (50cm), or Large 28” (55cm). If you’re unsure of which size would be best for you, please contact us so that we can assist you in finding the correct fit.

Suspension: The Agattu is equipped with a Suntour CR-8V adjustable front suspension fork. The Suntour fork has a lock out feature for better riding efficiency when the suspension is not needed, for example, while riding on the street to the trail.

Tires: The power from the Kalkhoff Agattu meets the ground with its lightweight Schwalbe Energizer Lite, 28 x 1.5 tires with Kevlar Guard puncture protection. These tires are optimal for fast rolling and provide good cornering grip. The Agattu also comes with the option of 26” Schwalbe Energize Lite tires.

Color: The Kalkhoff Agattu is available in Carbonite Grey.

Warranty: Kalkhoff offers a two year warranty.

Accessories: The Kalkhoff Agattu comes with front and rear fenders, front and rear lights, a rear carrying rack, a chainguard, and a kickstand. The front and rear LED lights are powered by a Shimano 3N31 hub dynamo in the front, which means these lights still have power even with the system is powered off. Our team has a lot of experience outfitting bikes with additional accessories, so be sure to reach out to us if there’s anything you may need.

Battery: The Kalkhoff Agattu comes standard with a long lasting, 36v 11Ah (396Wh) removable Impulse Lithium-Ion battery. This battery is centrally positioned on the frame which helps maintain a low center of gravity while reducing the effect of additional weight on the bike’s handling. The battery charges from empty to full in 4 hours.

Motor: The Agattu utilizes the Impulse 2.0 Pedelec mid drive motor delivering up to 70Nm of torque; a mechanical advantage for climbing. The 36v 250w Impulse 2.0 Pedelec motors are fitted with Shift-Sensing technology which allows the motor to seamlessly adjusts to your abilities. These high-torque motors are extremely responsive, quiet and excellent for climbing hills.

Riding Modes: This Kalkhoff electric bike features several levels of torque-sensing pedal assist, which can easily be changed while you are riding. The Agattu can also be ridden like a regular, non-assisted bicycle by normal pedaling.

Display: The Kalkhoff Impulse 2.0 display has a backlit thumb controller for optimal night operation allowing you to thumb through the display of your speed, trip distance, battery level, and odometer. It’s positioned on the faceplate of the stem which offers excellent visibility. To change motor settings while riding, simply push the large, glove friendly keys on the handlebar control pad. This ensures safety and stability, while still allowing you to control the motor for optimal performance.

Range: The Agattu utilizes Impulse’s efficient 396Wh battery with a range of up to 50 miles under optimal riding conditions. Range will always vary depending on use of drive mode, how much you pedal, the type of terrain, and the rider’s weight.
