The Cane Creek Thudbuster ST (Short Travel) Seatpost is built to tackle the everyday demands of e-bike and commuter rides. Utilizing Cane Creek’s renowned parallel linkage technology, this newly re-engineered seatpost combines increased durability, an elevated rider weight capacity, enhanced suspension travel, and easy maintenance—all designed to boost comfort on rough roads.
With 50mm of travel, the Thudbuster ST expertly absorbs shocks from uneven terrain like broken pavement and cobblestones. The parallel linkage system allows the post to compress downward and rearward, countering bumps naturally without overactive movement, providing more travel without compromising pedal efficiency.
Crafted from forged aluminum, the seatpost features a single-bolt clamp for easy saddle adjustments and a quick, tool-free elastomer change for customized tuning. It arrives with a medium-firm elastomer, though Extra Soft, Soft, Firm, and Extra Firm options are available to suit any rider preference. Durable PTFE bushings and serviceable, hard-anodized aluminum axles ensure longevity, making the Thudbuster ST the ideal choice for riders seeking a smooth, reliable commuting experience.
