These are the all-new Riese & Muller 2020 electric bikes! The Riese & Muller Load 60 Vario features new Bosch Cargo Line Cruise Gen 4 motor, Bosch Powerpack 500wh, Intuvia Display, Enviolo 380 R&M Custom, and Gates drive belt CDX.

Motor: The Riese & Muller Load 60 Vario comes with Bosch Cargo Line Cruise. From making deliveries, collecting the kids from kindergarten to doing the shopping – the new Cargo Line, which is designed especially for cargo bikes, makes transport easy. With a torque of up to 75 nm, the powerful Cargo Line offers full support even at low cadences. The Cargo Line offers up to 400% of powerful support with a permissible total weight of up to 250 kg.

Battery: The Bosch PowerPack 500wh is the same size as and only slightly heavier than the PowerPack 400 but extends the range. The Lithium-ion battery requires about two hours to charge 50% and the PowerPack 500 takes approx. 4.5 hours to charge with the Bosch Standard Charger.

Warranty: Two years after pick-up when you purchase a bike. Furthermore, Riese & Muller grants you a voluntary warranty on the battery of two years: We guarantee that the battery will still have a capacity of 60% after two years or 500 full charge cycles (whichever happens first).

GX option ($59)

If you like riding your E-Bike off-road, then simply equip it with first-class All-Terrain tires. The SnakeSkin side wall of the Schwalbe Smart Sam Plus tires guarantees exceptional grip especially when cornering. A 3 mm protective cover around the inner tube provides extra-secure puncture resistance. The wide VP 538 flat pedals provide grip for your feet.

Carrier ($153)

If the front storage space is not enough, there is always the optional carrier. It is ideal for attaching panniers, making it perfect for longer bike trips too. Since it is secured directly to the frame, it also benefits from the suspension thanks to Control Technology. On the HS models, the carrier is fitted as standard.

Additional chain lock ($59)

The solid Abus chain lock, as well as the Abus Shield frame lock, secures your E-Bike twice over. The 130 cm long chain is latched onto the frame lock and the bike can be quickly attached to the nearest lamppost. The chain thickness of 6 mm ensures a high level of anti-theft protection. Especially practical: Frame lock, chain lock and battery lock all use the same key.
