The Haibike XDURO FullSeven Carbon 8.0 2017 is made of UD Carbon frames, all frame components are made (except for the Skidplate) Carbon practical. Each piece is hand-laminated, wherein the carbon fibers are aligned parallel to a specified plan in accordance with the subsequent loading direction (unidirectional laminate). This can be optimally exploited their tensile strength, and the areas with a particularly high stiffness can be defined and others are designed with more flex.

Integrated Motor concept: The engine is the technological core of the optical and essential defining characteristic of e-bikes. Thanks to Gravity Casting interfaces we can rebuild the engine as short as possible and without any separate mounting plates. We reduce the space to a minimum and reduce the visual volume of the engine to a fraction. The Skidplate is useful as a protective device not only from a technical perspective, it also encompasses optical engine. So this is visually part of the frame. The result is a technically perfect tailed motor which, as its standard solution, a non-autogenous part is not, but is a self-evident center of ePerformance bikes.
The Bosch Performance CX drive: The Bosch Performance CX has been specially optimized for performance for sports use. The engine delivers up to a high speed range, a constant maximum torque of up to 75 Nm. He also has the “Direct Flow” technology, which guarantees a powerful support in the lower cadences from 20 U / min. The Trail Control provides a dynamic power control, in which the driver always choose the right level of support (50-300%) and thus the perfect coordination can adjust for terrain. The Gear Change Control enables chain-sparing gear changes.
StepIn Battery-Integration: Downtube battery the developers have always face difficult challenges, as a large volume has to be integrated in a comparatively filigree frame. That one it can still provide a technically and visually compelling solution that Haibike StepIn showing concept. To reduce the visual “weight”, we sink the Bosch battery slightly in the down tube. Through a combination of hydroformed tubes and special castings we bind the battery optically into the frame and can avoid the conventional, tight-tolerance welding of the attachment points.
